Mr Aziz Hazara, is a SAF Scholar graduated in Fine Arts from UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Institute  of South Asian Arts (UMISAA), Beaconhouse National University, Lahore, Pakistan in 2017 . Mr Aziz Hazara is an interdisciplinary artist based in Kabul and Ghent. He works across mediums including photography, video, sound, language programming, text and multimedia installations, exploring questions of identity, memory, archive, conflict, surveillance and migration in the context of power relations, geopolitics and the panopticon. He has the distinction of exhibiting his creations  nationally and internationally.

 
About the prize

The biannual Future Generation Art Prize is the only prize for the young generation of artists with a global dimension and guided by an open, free, and democratic application process (online).
