SAF-UNESCO Regional Conference for the SAARC Countries on Youth

Attended by representatives of Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka together with representatives of UNICEF, UNDP, UNIDO and UNFPA.

 

 

 

 

 

The delegates to the first SAF-UNESCO Regional Conference for the SAARC countries were briefed by Madanjeet Singh in the conference hall of the SAF-India office in New Delhi. Some thirty-five participants attended the Conference, together with representatives of UN agencies and discussed the current situation of youth in the information society.
