Madam France Marquet, Principal Trustee, MSF and SAF Representative to UNESCO attended The prize-giving ceremony of the UNESCO-Bangladesh Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman International Prize for the Creative Economy 2023 took place at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 (6pm local time)
About the Prize
Created in 2020 with the generous support from the government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, the UNESCO-Bangladesh Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman International Prize for the Creative Economy rewards exceptional initiatives that support young entrepreneurs in the field of the creative economy.
The Prize bears the name of the father of the Bengali nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who believed in the power of youth and culture to unify people and build peace in society.
