Prof. Mohanan Pillai has taken over charge as Director,UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Institute for South Asia Regional Co-operation (UMI SARC), at Pondicherry University, Puducherry, on 1st June, 2012, from Prof. Nalini Kant Jha. Prof. Jha continues as the Dean, School of Social Sciences & International Studies.
