As the Director at the UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Institute for South Asian Arts (UMISAA) at Beaconhouse National University (BNU) and the Chairperson of the South Asia Foundation Pakistan, she has played a significant role in promoting art and cultural dialogue in the region. Her participation in the Lahore Arts Council's event, particularly in the session titled "Women in Public Spaces: Art Activism & Representation," highlights her commitment to using art as a medium for social change and empowerment. This session, featuring other notable speakers like Saman Rai, Qudsia Rahim, and Amina Ali, aims to explore the intersection of art, activism, and women's representation in public spaces.
