The process involved a rigorous combination of a written examination, merit evaluation, and a comprehensive interview..

Simultaneously, nominations from other autonomous chapters were thoroughly vetted. These candidates were assessed based on their educational qualifications and were required to pass an online interview conducted by the corresponding UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Green Energy Technology chapter.
