Mme France Marquet, Principal Trustee of Madanjeet Singh Foundation (MSF), visited (18-20 April 2019) Calicut University on the invitation of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Basheer. During the trip, she met senior Faculties and students and also visited the social sciences department that deals with differently abled youths in the University. Calicut University’s contribution in the field of indigenous people was appreciated by the MSF Principal Trustee during her visit to the Institute of Tribal Studies and Research, which is located in Chethalayam of Wayanad district. Apart from interacting with the Faculties and Students of the Institute, she also met Ms. Sreedhanya and her family the first Tribal women in Kerala to become an IAS.
