News Lahore, Wagah Border - 19th September 2015

Travelling through Wagha border was one of the best experience. If its possible, I would love to continue going through the same route like you do.and I I know, I come here as your responsibility, I promise I will take care. The people at Wagha were so kind to me. They even gave me fruit juice and their hospitality was beyond words. They asked me to draw them. And they were very happy, even though I wasnt quite successful making them realistic. And I even got half the price discount while travelling from Amritsar airport to Wagha mainly because I had limited money. Even here in Lahore, hospitality of people is beyond words.Once I was travelling alone in old Lahore area, and a Quinchi chacha refused to take money from me for dropping me off at Badsahi mosque, he said " aap hamari meheman hai, ye hamari farz hai"
My deepest gratitude to you mam, without you I would have never experienced all these priceless experience. I wish I could put these experience as artwork but I dont know how.

With regards

Samyukta
