Mr. Baquer Ahmadi, a scholar at the UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Institute for South Asian Arts (UMISAA), Beaconhouse National University (BNU), showcased his talent in the recent group performance show "We Have Been Waiting for You," curated at Bari Studio in collaboration with Justice Project Pakistan.
Born in Afghanistan in 1995, Mr. Ahmadi's work focuses on visual and critical research in art criticism. He participated in the prestigious Vasl Artists' Association residency program, Taaza Tareen 9, in 2017. Later that year, he joined UMISAA at BNU under the SAF Scholarship program, refining his practice and contributing to the dialogue of South Asian art and culture.
