Professor Salima Hsshmi was in Colombo from Jan 19-21 attending a meeting of art writers from South Asia hosted by Museum of Modern Art New York and Asia Art Archive, Hong Kong. She met up with UMISAA students from Srilanka at the Teertha Artists Collective Columbo..
Pradeep Thalawatta who teaches in Jaffna traveled to Colombo to meet Professor Hashmi . They are standing in front of Pradeeps work in the Teertha Red Dot Gallery.
Jagath Weerasinghe,.celebrated Srilankan artist, archaeologist, curator and writer with Sakunthala Gulanga, also a SAF scholar from Beaconhouse National Universit ywho traveled from Kandy to meet Mrs Hashmi at Teertha..
