This is a special time for BNU's School of Visual Arts and School of Architecture and Design students. In their 2008 Thesis Exhibition, our students are bringing four years of hard and challenging work to completion. Each year the students' thesis exhibition demonstrates the commitment of our students to their individual disciplines as well as the group's strength as a whole.

At BNU our students participate in an innovative, interdisciplinary, professional curriculum. They learn so much more than the "skills of the trade:' In their programs, the students gain the confidence of a critical eye, as well as an understanding of the issues which underlie professional practice.

In the 2008 Thesis Exhibition, the visitor will see in the students' work their aesthetic skills, their intellectual strengths, and their passion for art and design. We, the faculty, are so proud of the distance our students have travelled. We shall miss them all, but every ending points the way towards a new beginning.
