On October 25, 2024, the Asian College of Journalism (ACJ) in Chennai will host an alumni mixer and panel discussion titled "Women Shaping Journalism in India." The event will bring together leading female journalists who have made significant contributions to the industry.
The distinguished panel includes Shaili Chopra, Founder of GyTree and SheThePeople; Yogita Limaye, South Asia & Afghanistan Correspondent at BBC; Dhanya Rajendran, Editor-in-Chief of The News Minute; and Rupha Ramani, Sports Editor and Presenter at FirstPost. The discussion will be moderated by Harsha Subramaniam, President of the ACJ Alumni Association.
