The UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Centre of South Asian Journalism (UMCSAJ) has successfully concluded its admission process for the academic year 2022-23. The selection of Indian scholars was meticulously carried out, with a strong emphasis on gender priority. The process included a written examination, merit evaluation, and a comprehensive interview.
In parallel, nominations from other autonomous chapters were thoroughly screened. These candidates were evaluated based on their educational qualifications and had to successfully clear an online interview conducted by the corresponding UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Centre of South Asian Journalism.
The completion of this process marks another step forward in UMCSAJ's commitment to fostering excellence in journalism education across South Asia, while ensuring a diverse and inclusive academic environment.
