Mme France Marquet, Principal Trustee of the Madanjeet Singh Foundation (MSF) and South Asia Foundation (SAF) Representative to UNESCO, met with H.E. Mauricio Vargas Linares, Ambassador of Colombia and Permanent Delegate to UNESCO. The meeting focused on exchanging ideas regarding the UNESCO-Madanjeet Singh Prize for the Promotion of Tolerance and Non-Violence, reaffirming the shared commitment to advancing these core values.

It is noteworthy that UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Madanjeet Singh, after whom the prize is named, served as India's first Ambassador to Colombia and inaugurated the Indian Embassy in Bogotá, marking a historical connection between the two nations.
