Proposition for SAF Madanjeet Singh Institution for Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell Technology

Ambassador Madanjeet Singh met with Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Minister of New & Renewable Energy and proposed to establish the SAF Madanjeet Singh Institution for Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell Technology.
Subsequently, Dr. S. K. Chopra, Advisor, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy accompanied him and Mme France Marquet to the Government of India Solar Energy campus in Gurgaon.
There they met with two solar scientists, Dr. S. K. Singh and Engineer J.P. Singh and identified a piece of land for the proposed institute. Should the Ministry approve the proposal, SAF will sign a MoU on the lines of the latest two MoUs that have been formulated with the University of Pondicherry in India and the Beaconhouse University in Lahore, Pakistan.
