Cop In My City is an initiative of CliMates (an international youth think and do tank). Cop In My City aims to bridge the gap between climate change negotiations aka COP (Conference of Parties) and youths. Thus, it encourages youths to take local climate action and build a network of change makers around the world for global impact and international synergy.
Mr. Sunil Sapkota, CIMC leader from Nepal in Bhutan, conducted a simulation in College of Natural Resources, Lobesa, Punakha on 2nd September 2016. There were 28 participants and the simulation ran for three and half hours.
Youths were interested and energetic to act as responsible world to save nature for future generation. Since the first and second phase are already completed third phase of the COP IN MY CITY PUNAKHA will be completed with organizing or supporting wetland conservation campaign and sanitation.
