Sad Demise of Amb. Madanjeet Singh

Dear SAF Colleagues,

We are shocked to learn about the passing away of Ambassador Madanjeet Singh, the founding father of South Asia Foundation. Over the last twelve years he had been pursuing relentlessly his dream of establishing a secular and peaceful South Asia. The UNESCO-Madanjeet Singh Institutes of Excellence and the scholarship schemes he established in different SAARC countries are among the lasting legacies he leaves behind. No other person in the world has contributed so much in recent years in establishing regional as well as global harmony. His passing away is an irreparable loss to the whole SAF family. May his soul rest in peace.
