The Founder of South Asia Foundation Dies

Kabul (BNA) Mr. Madangeet Singh the founder and head of South Asia foundation died aged 93 in Neisse city of France.
He was a well-known cultural international figure and goodwill ambassador of UNESCO, who founded south Asia foundation with his own money to serve the 8 countries of the region.

Madanjeet Singh & Dr Sayed Makhdoom Raheen

Dr. Sayed Makhdoom Raheen Minister of Information and Culture in a condolence message representing Afghan cultural society expressing condolence, called the death of Mr. Madanjeet Singh as an international loss.

The Minister of Information and Culture told BNA that Mr. Singh was not only a well-known scholar but loyal servant of South Asia nations and was a great man who devoted his life for promoting science and strengthening noble means like democracy, human rights, women rights and fight against discrimination.

Late Madanjeet Singh originally was an Indian citizen but lived in France.
